From prehistoric days the need to express has been as fundamental to human existence as eating and breathing, and the making of art reconnects us with that elemental need. Pilisa has found that working in glass has also given her a way to send beautiful art into the homes of her clients. The glass can also incorporate a wide range of spiritual energies that can inspire, heal, convey love, abundance, personal growth and more. Pilisa's hope is that the joy, intent and energy that she puts forth creating her pieces is equally as exciting to the people viewing her work. Pilisa says, "I look forward to continuing my journey of discovery and experimentation in this wonderful realm of color and light for many years to come… and to take as many as I can along with me on this crazy adventure!"
The AMusinGlass Studio is Pilisa Rainbow Lady's playground where she has been working in the fused glass art form since 2006, starting as a self-taught artist and going on to learn new ways to work in the kiln from the best artists and teachers in the industry. Some of her techniques were learned by experimentation in those classes and some were developed in her studio on her own.
Pilisa prefers to work on a commission basis, since commission work allows her to create the perfect piece for her clients’ homes and businesses. However, between clients, she can allow her creative juices full reign as she produces works of art as an expression of her combined spiritual and imaginative energies.
